A Birds Eye View Of Webcams - Solinas

I found this on the Neat New Stuff mailing list. A Birds Eye View of Webcams is a site which lists webcams worldwide - currently 2636 webcams in 108 countries. The site contains NO LINKS to either adult, or personal webcam, so it's kid safe.

You can search, or navigate via the main menu.

I spent a good amount of time browsing the webcams. This is a fun site - well worth a bookmark and a visit!

Check it out.

Opte - Solinas

The Opte project is a project to generate maps of the internet - daily.

From the site: "The goal of this project is to use a single computer and single Internet connection to map the location of every single class C network on the Internet. It is obvious that the Internet is not routed as a bunch of class-c networks, but it is easy to see that by treating the Internet IP space as a bunch of class C networks, it will be possible to make a detailed map of the entire Internet."

The project is still under development, but there's already been a few test maps created and uploaded. Beautiful stuff - like a colored map of the stars.

Check it out.

Marfer's Notes for Windows XP - Andantino

Andantino says: "Lots of XP answers and links here on a single page. He leads off with Windows XP newsgroup answers; you click an item and the solution to a problem pops up to the right with an option to copy it to the clipboard. This is about as handy a Q & A format as you could ask for. He then provides links to other XP sites worth visiting and finishes the page off with a large collection of XP MS Knowledge Base links. Lots of information in a very user-friendly format."

This site has a TON of information, including:

You can find information easily by going to the site and doing a "Control F", since it's all one big page.

Very useful - thanks, Andantino!

Santa Rosa Steve says: "Bet my IE browser is better than yours! Internet Explorer has been the leading web browser for a long time--long enough to allow the development of a slew of useful add-ons. Here are ones I've found helpful. I use them all in IE 5.5 with Windows 98 SE, and in IE 6.0 with Windows XP SP1. Every one works well, and they all work well together! While installing Easy Go Back in IE 5.5, I was warned that some features might not work, but so far I have not had a problem. These are all free! Links point to pages with additional program information and download links."
