Olympic Sites

Medalwatcher is a Win95 Netscape plug-in to grab real-time Olympic scores. Go to the web site, download the plug-in. Install it, restart Netscape, go back to the Medalwatcher site, and get the feed.

IF that's too much work, just check out the following sites: Olympic.org (IBM), AT&T, and NBC. Expect big delays in posting scores, lots of modem-choking graphics, bandwidth problems from other users, etc.

Submit It!

OK, you've created your own web page, and want to get it "listed." You could spend an afternoon submitting your site URL to all the major search sites (Yahoo, Infoseek, Alta Vista, etc), or get it all done in one quick shot. Yes, a rubber band ball. Like you might have made as a bored kid. It may be pointless, but it has its own web page, frames enabled, with a photo album, "the story", a four-part list of donors, honors and recognition, moving graphics of the ball bouncing around, etc.

This site is worth a visit - just to see the effort you can put into making a web page about a completely stupid subject.
