The Links for May 31, 1997

Readers Digest At Home
At Home has the logo "How to do just about anything." It's a great site, geared primarily for homeowners.

The site features an extensive How-To library, with instructions and diagrams for hundreds of home improvement projects. There's discussion forums and "Ask the Family Handyman" - so interactive help is there as well.

And there's much more. Gardening information, recipes, health, etc.

A very big thanks to Dudley for yet another great find!

My Virtual Reference Desk
Bill George of the PC CLubhouse Users Group sent me an excerpt from their newsletter - filled with great links. This site was found and reported by Kathy.

Do you need information on almost anything? Check here first.

It has links for: current time on an atomic clock, population clocks, dictionaries, national debt, daily almanac, 260 search engines sorted by category, news, sports, facts, an online encyclopedia - you name it.

Don't miss this site. It's so good, I've added it to my toolbar folder - a very high honor indeed. Thanks Bob and Kathy!!!

Cheap Computer Stuff!
Listener Antiman sent this in. He said they have the cheapest prices for computer components around. I checked a few pieces where I know the street price - this does look very good!

Do you know of better prices? Let me know, so I can share it with others!

Thanks, Antiman - this site should save many people lots of money!
Microsoft.com parody
Nerdley found this very, very funny parody of the Microsoft web site. Microcult has the look and feel down pat. A funny site, and an nice place to visit after navigating Microsoft's site.

Check it out.

Bios Survival Guide
Bob found this HOT technical site. The Bios Survival Guide is a great resource for people who need to know anything about bioses.
