PC Webopaedia
Listener Scoble sent this one in.

Webopaedia is an online dictionary/encyclopedia. This site it geared mostly for newer users, but it has good, clear explanations of computer terms.

You can either search, or browse the site by category. Quite nice.

Thanks, Scoble, for this one!

Mudball Wall
Yet another fine Taxi Mike find. "Strike the targets one and all, and watch for a pattern on Mudball Wall."

This is a fun and somewhat challenging Shockwave game which is adapted from "The Logical Journey of the Zoombinies" the purpose of which is to teach kids logic and math skills. Fun for adults too!

Puzzle fans will love this one!!

Thanks, Taxi Mike!!

Celebrity Email Addresses
You never know. Some of these may actually work. It's a list of email addresses for a bunch of celebrities. There are no guarantees, of course, but the webmaster has checked out several of these, and says they work.

Hey, what do you have to lose? Why not fire off a few dozen fan emails, and see what you get back? It's cheaper than stamps.

This pick was found by listener - well, I think, the pet of a listener. Thanks to Chewey, the Wonder Chihuahua for this one.

Kids Web
There are many products which protect your kids from bad stuff on the web. What they are left with is the standard Netscape or IE interface. It isn't "kid friendly" for searching, finding kids sites, and a slip of the mouse can land them on the taskbar, etc.

Cripton Corp has created a nice little browser - with an interface designed specifically for kids. You can hide the address bar, and your kid can navigate off of a bar of icons which all link to kids sites. It handles shockwave, tables, etc - and is html 3.2 compliant.

If you've got kids who want to surf, this is a great way to simplify things for them. And it's free.

Check out Cripton Corp's other free software - quite a nice collection.
